Why take part in research trials?

Research trials, also known as clinical trials, need human volunteers to help us understand treatments for diseases and conditions. When you join a clinical trial, you may have access to new treatments and medicines before they’re widely available. But you’re not only taking an active role in your own health. You’re also part of research that can help your community — and beyond. Together, we can find healthy solutions for us all.

"I'm In" Campaign

The "I’m In" campaign was initiated to bring awareness to the lack of participation of historically underrepresented minorities in clinical trials including Women, Hispanics, African Americans, and Asian Americans. Together with the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufactures of America (PhRMA), the National Minority Quality Forum embarked on this campaign with various Minority Serving Institutions including DHR Health.
