Bystanders are always the first on the scene of an accident. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, which is why it is so important to quickly stop the blood loss. Those nearest to the life-threatening injuries are in the best position to provide care while waiting for professional emergency responders. A Stop the Bleed Course will teach you what to do in a bleeding emergency and the basics about bleeding control.
