Biography

Dr. Adrian Agapito specializes in general psychiatry. His services include the assessment and treatment of disorders of thinking, feeling and behavior.

Dr. Agapito completed his undergraduate education at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio, followed by residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Agapito completed residency training in psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is so good here. Katy the therapist is very good at what she does and is so sweet and understanding. She’s super knowledgeable and actually cares about everyone. Can’t say enough good things about her! Breakfast and lunch provided and medication management with Dr Agapito (who is the best psych I ever seen). Highly recommend the IOP program as a way to cope and develop skills to help mental health issues.

I’m so grateful DHR IOP is back! With a flexible Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri schedule, it’s easy to attend. Katie Jasso, LPC, has revived the program with passion, Dr. Agapito provides excellent psychiatric care, and the Luby’s dietitian even accommodates my vegan diet. Truly VIP treatment!
